Job Description

Job Title:
RF Repair Technician Job Description This position is responsible for using soldering equipment to repair, modify, and change parts on electronic circuit boards and STB units. A solid understanding of RF transmission, amplification, and receiving electronic circuitry is essential. Responsibilities Perform thru-hole and surface-mount soldering with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Conduct component-level soldering repair with a focus on RF (radio frequency) technology. Test, troubleshoot, and repair PCBs (printed circuit boards) at the component level, specifically working on radio antennas and amplifier transmitters. Handle heavy equipment (50+ lbs) with care; while lifting is not required, be prepared to work with such equipment, for instance, sliding radios on a conveyor belt. Utilize an assigned workbench which is a shared workspace between 1st shift and 2nd shift technicians. Be computer literate with basic proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office, and perform data entry tasks. Communicate effectively in English, as training and team communication will be conducted in English. Adhere to safety protocols by wearing safety-toe shoes while working around heavy equipment. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in thru-hole and surface-mount soldering. Proficiency in component-level soldering repair with RF (radio frequency) expertise. Experience in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing PCBs. Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and navigation of MS Office applications. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with handling heavy electronic equipment. Experience working in a shared workspace environment. Why Work Here? The workspace is shared between different shifts, offering collaborative opportunities. Safety-toe shoes are required due to the nature of the equipment handled. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.51 - $32.46/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
