Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a qualified Lead Cryptologic Technician supporting a federal client in Norfolk, VA. This candidate will support RF system testing and integration efforts across lab and field environments. Their day to day will include system setup, troubleshooting, data collection, and documentation. A qualified candidate will have RF experience, technical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to support deployments.
  •  Provide support for system integration and test execution across both laboratory and field environments
  •  Assist with the setup, configuration, and operation of RF and related test equipment
  •  Support CONUS and OCONUS travel for field testing and system deployment activities
  •  Collect, analyze, and document test data to evaluate overall system performance
  •  Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test procedures, reports, and system-level training materials
Compensation:
$100k - $110k Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.   •  High school diploma or equivalent required
  •  5+ years of progressive experience supporting the production, integration, installation, repair, troubleshooting, or maintenance of electronic systems or equipment
  •  Working knowledge of RF systems, including fundamental theory and operational principles
  •  Experience with Linux system administration, including disk mounting, permissions management, RAID configuration, and basic system maintenance
  •  Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and engineering documentation
  •  Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, network infrastructure, or integrated systems
  •  RF, RDT&E, CTM, or SIGINT background
