Job Description

Description We are seeking multiple RF Test Technicians to support the testing and verification of EW/cUAS product electronic assemblies and systems in a
R D/LRIP
environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring hardware meets functional, quality, and customer requirements. The technician will collaborate closely with engineering and program leadership to improve test effectiveness, throughput, and reliability. Key Responsibilities
  • Execute assigned test activities while managing priorities and tracking progress against delivery schedules
  • Provide actionable feedback to technical and operational leadership to improve yield, shorten test cycles, increase capacity, and reduce false failures
  • Maintain test lab equipment, ensuring calibration compliance and adherence to customer and program test requirements
  • Coordinate with external vendors and equipment support teams to resolve technical issues and maintain test capabilities
  • Perform inspection and testing of RF, electrical and electronic subassemblies, assemblies, and systems in accordance with schematics, drawings, and specifications
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate a range of electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
  • Follow documented procedures, work instructions, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures
  • Troubleshoot digital, RF, and mixed‑signal circuit cards down to the component level
  • Conduct basic circuit analysis to identify root causes of failures and recommend corrective actions or design improvements to engineering
  • Contribute to short-term operational goals or lead defined test-related projects with meaningful impact

  • Ability to obtain TS SCI clearance.
  • 3+ years of experience performing both system and component level test of RF Tactical Systems
  • Experience with lab equipment. (including but not limited to spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings. (mechanical and electrical)
  • Knowledge of digital and analog RF circuits.
  • Experience working with basic command lines in Linux and read/modify python scripts Desire
  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology
  • Knowledge of C languages.
  • Programming and troubleshooting digital control circuits along with microwave experience.
  • Direct and demonstrated experience in debugging of RF systems.
  • Programming experience with micro-controllers, and embedded Linux.
  • CompTIA Linux+ or Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator. (RHCSA) Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Sterling, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00
  • $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
