Commercial Kitchen Service Technician

ProToCall is expanding across TX, FL, AL, AK, CA, and OK, and we're looking for experienced commercial kitchen technicians who can confidently handle both hot and cold side equipment. We're building a professional, accountable service team — not a patch-and-pray operation. What You'll Be Working On Hot Side Equipment Fryers Griddles & Charbroilers Convection, Deck & Combi Ovens Steamers Warmers & Holding Cabinets Gas valves, ignition systems, thermostats, heating elements, controls Cold Side Equipment Walk-in Coolers & Freezers Reach-ins Ice Machines Prep Tables Refrigeration Systems Diagnosing compressors, expansion valves, controls, leaks, electrical components You'll troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment with speed and precision — minimizing downtime and keeping kitchens running. What We're Looking For EPA Certification (required) Minimum 4+ years of commercial equipment experience Strong gas AND electrical diagnostic skills Experience with both hot and cold side preferred Clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Professional communication skills (because chefs are intense, but they respect competence) If you can walk into a chaotic kitchen and calmly fix the problem — you'll fit right in.
