What We're Looking For:
An experienced HVAC Refrigeration Technician to execute chiller performance testing and tasks related thereto.
What You'll Do:
Test chillers according to engineering test plans, record the data required, and report on test results. Troubleshoot chiller performance and operational issues (mechanical, electrical, controls, central plant) Evacuate chillers according to company standards and troubleshoot leaks. Refrigerant transfer to and from chillers, record exchanges for inventory control Execute repairs, modifications, and upgrades according to Engineering specifications Support 6S and department maintenance efforts Other duties and responsibilities as required
What You'll Bring:
Refrigerant handling license: EPA 608, type II Apprentice refrigeration mechanic license Journeyman refrigeration mechanic license Previous brazing experience
Core Competencies:
Ability to braze copper joints with an open flame torch An understanding of evacuation and refrigerant transfer equipment and industry best practices Attention to detail Mechanical skills Able to work alone Working written/verbal communication skills (English) Ability to multitask and adapt to a highly dynamic environment Good reasoning skills and sound judgement #wehire
