Refrigeration Mechanic Details:

Direct Hire position $79,000.00 /annually First Shift Test chillers according to engineering test plans, record the data required, and report on test results. Troubleshoot chiller performance and operational issues (mechanical, electrical, controls, central plant) Evacuate chillers according to company standards and troubleshoot leaks. Refrigerant transfer to and from chillers, record exchanges for inventory control Execute repairs, modifications, and upgrades according to Engineering specifications Support 6S and department maintenance efforts Other duties and responsibilities as required

Refrigeration Mechanic Qualifications:

DEP in refrigeration Ability to braze copper joints with an open flame torch An understanding of evacuation and refrigerant transfer equipment and industry best practices Attention to detail Mechanical skills Able to work alone Ability to multitask and adapt to a highly dynamic environment Frequently lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 75 pounds, with or without assistance.
