$90-120k base, plus annual bonus and company vehicleRelocation assistance availablePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Supervisor to lead field service operations for commercial and industrial HVAC systems. The supervisor will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery for chillers, boilers and related mechanical systems, manage technicians, coordinate with customers, and maintain compliance with industry regulations including EPA requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, mentor and schedule HVAC service technicians across commercial and industrial job sites to ensure timely, high-quality work.
Coordinate and prioritize service calls, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs and replacement projects for chillers, boilers, rooftop units and packaged systems.
Troubleshoot complex mechanical, refrigeration and control issues; provide technical guidance and hands-on support as required.
Ensure compliance with EPA regulations, safety standards and company policies; conduct toolbox talks and safety audits.
Perform and oversee vibration analysis, oil analysis and other condition-based monitoring to predict and prevent equipment failures.
Manage parts inventory, equipment, and service vehicles; coordinate parts ordering and vendor relationships.
Maintain accurate service documentation, job reports, work orders and maintenance logs in company systems.
Communicate with customers and facility managers to explain findings, recommend solutions, and ensure satisfaction.
Train technicians on best practices, new equipment, diagnostic tools and regulatory requirements.
Monitor team performance, enforce quality control, and drive continuous improvement in service procedures and response times.
QualificationsEPA Universal Certification (required) and working knowledge of refrigerant handling and reporting.5+ years of hands-on HVAC service experience with commercial and industrial systems.
Experience doing service calls for roof top units at 50 tons+.Proven experience with chillers, boilers, industrial HVAC equipment, vibration analysis and oil analysis programs.
Strong diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting skills across refrigeration, hydronic and control systems.
Experience managing, training, and mentoring technicians for scheduled maintenance and service calls.
Familiarity with commercial building systems, preventative maintenance programs and contract service delivery.
Excellent leadership, coaching and customer service skills; able to coordinate multiple projects and priorities.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to customer sites; ability to respond to on-call emergencies as needed.
Proficient with service management software, mobile work order systems and basic MS Office applications.
Physical ability to perform field work, including lifting, climbing ladders and working in confined spaces when required.
