Job Opportunity:
Commercial Refrigeration Installer at Allied Mechanical Services- Allied Mechanical Services is seeking a skilled refrigeration installer with the following qualifications:
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
- Installation and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems.
- Proficiency with condensing units, compressors, and evaporators.
- Expertise in refrigeration piping (including suction, liquid, and discharge), with skills in brazing, soldering, and pressure testing.
- Installation of pipe supports, hangers, and insulation.
- Experience with walk-in coolers/freezers and ice machines.
- Ability to read and interpret refrigeration drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of copper piping and refrigeration installation methods.
- Capable of performing change-outs, retrofits, and mechanical upgrades.
- Experience in the installation of large refrigeration panels (carpentry work).
- Adherence to safety compliance and OSHA procedures.
- Strong team coordination and communication skills.
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities.
Education and Certifications:
- High School Diploma or or Trade School
- EPA Certification
- Licensed in State of Connecticut
Salary:
- $22.00
