Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and display cases. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring efficient operation of refrigeration equipment. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of temperature controls. Handle refrigerant recovery and recharge in compliance with environmental regulations. Respond to refrigeration service calls and emergencies promptly, providing timely and effective solutions. Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and repairs completed.

Sales Opportunities:

Identify potential sales opportunities during service calls and earn commissions on successful sales.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial refrigeration technician. Strong knowledge of various refrigeration systems and their components. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues. Familiarity with refrigerant recovery and EPA regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
