Job Description

Overview Hi‑M. Solutek Korea is a global company and a subsidiary specializing in service and maintenance for LG Electronics' HVAC systems. Since our founding in 2006, we have been dedicated to delivering high‑quality installation, commissioning, and maintenance services for commercial and industrial heating and cooling systems worldwide. In 2024, we expanded our global operations by establishing our North America subsidiary in Alpharetta, Georgia. Through this expansion, Hi‑M. Solutek continues to provide advanced, LG‑certified technical services across the North American region, supporting a wide range of mission‑critical facilities. Hi‑M. Solutek US Inc. is currently seeking a Chiller Technician to join our growing team supporting large commercial and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic and professionalism, with a minimum of three years of hands‑on experience working with commercial chillers, including turbocor (turbo) and screw chiller systems. We are seeking a candidate who is willing to commute to Kingston, GA. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain centrifugal, screw, and absorption chillers across commercial and industrial sites Service and troubleshoot supporting plant equipment including motors, pumps, valves, controls, and cooling towers Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, eddy current testing coordination, and seasonal start-ups and shutdowns Respond to emergency service calls during rotating on-call shifts and resolve issues on first visit when possible Document service work, refrigerant usage, and equipment condition through the company's work order system Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician specializing in chillers with turbo machinery and screw systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration techniques including ammonia refrigeration. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. EPA Universal certification required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred for field service assignments. Experience in construction or property maintenance environments is advantageous. Knowledge of HVAC/R standards, electrical systems, welding techniques, and boiler operations is highly desirable. $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
