Commercial Refrigeration Technician

Full Job Description Refrigeration Technician (3-5 years of experience required) •

LOCATION

Louisville, KY, Bowling Green, KY, Owensboro, KY area East's Refrigeration, LLC is a commercial service contractor providing supermarkets with quality service in rack refrigeration maintenance and repairs. We are looking for a dedicated team member with strong commercial rack refrigeration knowledge and the ability to work as a team and independently. Job Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration systems, including but not limited to air conditioning units, CO2 refrigeration systems, and commercial HVAC/R equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration systems and make necessary repairs. Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment and identify potential problems. Install new refrigeration systems and components as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements 18 years or older High School Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in refrigeration maintenance or a related field. Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC/R systems and components. Preferred knowledge in rack refrigeration. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Proficient in mechanical skills, including welding and pipefitting. Familiarity with CO2 refrigeration systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be willing to service stores in Central/Southern IN and Central/Western KY. Type I and Type II EPA Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience Can lift up to 75 pounds Can move up and down ladders Comfortable working at heights often Able to pass a drug screening
