Benefits & Compensation Pay:

$26.00 - $32.00/hour for candidates with ~5 years of experience. $33.00+/hour for highly experienced candidates with range dependent on skill and experience. (5+ years).

Schedule:

4-Day Work Week (Mon-Thu).

PTO available after 6 months. The Role We are looking for a highly skilled Industrial Refrigeration Technician to join our custom manufacturing team. Unlike standard field service, you will be part of the OEM build process , helping to create robust, innovative HVAC and refrigeration solutions for the Aerospace, Military, Biotech, and Petrochemical industries. You will be responsible for the assembly, brazing, and testing of high-precision systems designed for extreme environments.

What You'll Do Custom OEM Assembly:

Build and integrate specialized refrigeration systems from the ground up, including custom-engineered chillers and environmental control units.

Precision Brazing & Piping:

Perform high-quality copper-to-copper and copper-to-brass brazing; layout and install complex refrigerant piping based on custom CAD drawings.

System Commissioning:

Charge systems with various refrigerants and perform rigorous pressure testing and vacuum dehydration to meet stringent industrial standards.

Electrical Integration:

Wire control panels and integrate sensors/transducers; troubleshoot complex 3-phase electrical systems and PLC interfaces.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure every unit meets custom project specifications and survives "worst-case scenario" performance testing for oil & gas or military applications.

What We're Looking For Experience:

5-10 years of experience in HVAC/R, specifically with custom builds, specialized OEM manufacturing, or high-spec industrial systems.

Sector Knowledge:

Experience with explosion-proof (XP) systems for Petrochem or ultra-low temp (ULT) systems for Biotech is a major advantage.

Technical Skills:

Expert-level blueprint reading (P&IDs and electrical schematics) and mastery of precision measuring and testing tools.

Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for 10-hour shifts, and maintain a high level of attention to detail for mission-critical equipment.
