Refrigeration Technician

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical systems across various property sites. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems and HVAC/R equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning units, boilers, plumbing fixtures, and other mechanical systems to ensure efficient operation. Conduct field service visits to property sites for appliance repair, property maintenance, and emergency repairs. Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, and system performance logs. Follow safety protocols rigorously when handling refrigerants like ammonia or working with welding tools and boiler systems. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in refrigeration, HVAC/R, or property maintenance environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, plumbing, and boiler operation. Ability to read schematics accurately and apply HVAC design principles effectively. Familiarity with construction practices related to HVAC installation or maintenance projects. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; experience with appliance repair is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in field service settings.
