If solving tough mechanical and electrical problems underpins your best days—and you believe food safety and GMP discipline are just as important as speed—this role is for you. Your mission Keep equipment reliable and the facility inspection-ready by inspecting, repairing, modifying, painting, cleaning, and maintaining all areas of the plant and grounds. You'll champion food safety and GMPs while supporting preventive maintenance, parts procurement, and real-time troubleshooting so high-quality products keep moving. Challenges you'll tackle Rapidly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery, refrigeration assets, and building systems. Maintain and document a rigorous PM program to prevent breakdowns. Partner with production, assembly, packaging, and warehouse teams to resolve issues fast. Coach team members on proper equipment operation and care. Source and order the right parts to minimize downtime. Perform facility improvements, painting, and cleaning to uphold GMP standards. Continuously seek and implement improvements that cut downtime and boost reliability. Always work safely and within GMP and food safety requirements; other duties as assigned. What success looks like in 90 days PM tasks are current and fully documented. Operators have been trained on proper equipment use and minor adjustments. At least one improvement implemented that measurably reduces downtime. Consistent adherence to GMPs with a clean, safe production environment. Must-haves Proven mechanical troubleshooting ability. Electrical diagnostics and repair skills, including strong electrical troubleshooting. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Tech you'll use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Where you'll be On the floor 100% of the time—supporting the production floor, working in the shop, and stepping outside as needed to keep the operation running.
