Job Description:
Description The Product Support Technicians at Armstrong International provide technical expertise for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial hot water systems. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and/or HVAC skills to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance. Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a technical liaison between Armstrong, customers, representatives, and internal teams.
  • Advise on product selection, application, and system integration.
  • Conduct product training for customers and representatives onsite or at Armstrong facilities.
  • Provide timely, accurate technical support and collaborate with customers to develop customized solutions.
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on gas-fired equipment, including burners, heaters, and associated control systems, to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Lead or assist in the installation, start-up, and commissioning of new gas-fired units and control systems, ensuring all components are correctly integrated and operational. Key Requirements
  • High level of customer service and relational skills.
  • Ability to be on telephone and work with customers and/or representative on product support questions and issues.
  • High level of e-mail and technical documenting skills.
  • Ability to handle a widely varying level of calls received and general requests.
  • Technical background in electrical, mechanical, and/or HVAC areas.
  • Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), preferably Allen Bradley.
  • Ability to handle multiple requests and tasks at once.
  • Thorough follow up and documentation skills required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow direction and procedure. Education Level High School or equivalent Experience Level 5 years Benefits
