A Refrigerated Compressed Air Dryer Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigerated air dryer systems used in industrial compressed air setups. These systems remove moisture from compressed air to protect equipment and ensure efficient operation. Technicians are also responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing rotary screw air compressors used in industrial and commercial settings.What You'll Do:
Perform repairs and routine maintenance on compressed air dryers (filter changes, condenser cleaning, refrigerant checks) Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issues Monitor system performance, including temperature, pressure, and dew point Detect and repair refrigerant leaks and ensure proper refrigerant levels Perform preventative maintenance on compressed air equipment (oil changes, filter changes, etc.) Communicate effectively with internal service team Maintain accurate and detailed records and documentationJob Requirements:
Refrigeration experience and EPA 608 certification is strongly preferred Good mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills - experience with air compressors is not required! We will train you! Communication skills, both written and verbal Willingness to travel within the state of Minnesota, mainly staying within a 100-mile radius of our Burnsville office - valid driver's license required! Work Environment Industrial settings such as manufacturing plants, workshops, and service sites Travel to various customer sites within the state of Minnesota, and minimal travel into surrounding states May include working in confined spaces, noisy environments, and varying temperatures Physical Requirements Ability to lift heavy equipment (50+ lbs) Standing, bending, climbing, and working with tools for extended periodsJob Type and Hours:
