In this vital role, you will be the go-to expert for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting commercial kitchen appliances and systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients' kitchens operate smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration skills in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Duties Diagnose and repair a wide range of hot and cold side commercial kitchen appliances including ovens, fryers, refrigerators, freezers, and dishwashers Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately identify issues and implement solutions Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan Install new kitchen equipment following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines Conduct field service visits at customer locations, ensuring timely and effective repairs Assist with assembly of new equipment and minor installations as needed Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and parts inventory to ensure seamless documentation of all activities Skills Strong appliance repair skills with experience in commercial kitchen equipment Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings Solid mechanical knowledge related to refrigeration, HVAC systems, and electrical components Customer service experience with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Delivery driver experience using box trucks or similar vehicles for transporting parts or equipment Knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC principles, and electrical troubleshooting techniques Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards This role is ideal for someone with a background in service technician work who is eager to apply their technical expertise in a vibrant environment.
