About the Role As a Field Service Technician specializing in major home appliances and refrigeration, you will serve as a vital problem-solver for homeowners. You will utilize your technical expertise to restore essential household systems, ensuring comfort and convenience for our clients while enjoying a dynamic, mobile work environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues in refrigerators, dishwashers, laundry units, and cooking appliances. Execute high-quality repairs that restore system functionality and extend the lifespan of customer equipment. Provide expert recommendations on maintenance and system upgrades to improve long-term appliance performance. Maintain precise inventory of service parts and ensure your mobile workstation remains organized and fully stocked. Deliver exceptional service experiences by communicating clearly and professionally with every customer. Perform rigorous testing on HVAC/R components to verify safety and operational efficiency post-repair. Qualifications Required Skills Proven mechanical aptitude with a strong focus on systematic troubleshooting. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. EPA Type I or Universal Certification for handling refrigerants. Physical capability to lift, maneuver, and work in varied residential environments. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical clients. Preferred Skills Prior professional experience in appliance or refrigeration repair. Advanced knowledge of HVAC/R service, installation, and preventative maintenance protocols. Strong commitment to continuous learning and industry-standard repair practices.
