Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lead Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing the installation of walk-in coolers and freezers, while leading a crew to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong technical and mechanical abilities, leadership experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and work alongside a crew of installers on job sites
Plan daily tasks, delegate responsibilities, and ensure projects stay on schedule
Train and mentor team members to maintain quality and safety standards
Perform installation of walk-in coolers, freezers, and related systems according to specifications and company standards
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions to determine proper installation procedures
Test installed systems to ensure proper functionality and troubleshoot issues as needed
Provide customers with clear instructions on operation and maintenance of installed equipment
Maintain accurate installation records and complete required reports
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards
Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients
Travel to job sites as required (includes overnight travel)
Continuously improve product knowledge and installation skills through training Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification is a plus)
Proven experience as an installer or in a similar hands-on technical role
Prior experience leading a crew or supervising a team preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow detailed instructions
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively
Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to customers
Willingness to travel frequently and perform physical labor
