What You Will Do:
Lead and manage the operation, maintenance, and reliability of plant utility systems, including ammonia refrigeration (PSM), compressed air, boilers, steam, wastewater, and environmental systems. Direct and develop supervisors, mechanics, and associates to meet production, safety, and cost goals while fostering a team-based, continuous improvement culture. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, PSM, LOTO) and maintain a safe, hazard-free workplace. Oversee installation and maintenance of utility and refrigeration equipment, ensuring optimal efficiency, uptime, and quality performance. Drive process improvement, cost reduction, and capital planning initiatives for utility and refrigeration systems. Provide accurate and timely reporting on safety, production, and cost performance while supporting Lean Manufacturing and TPM practices.
What We Look For:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with minimum 10 years of related experience in utilities or maintenance management. Proven leadership experience, including managing teams and collaborating with corporate partners. Certifications such as CMRP, Six Sigma, or Lean are a plus. Strong technical expertise in ammonia refrigeration, PSM, electrical systems, and hydraulics. Experience in food manufacturing and familiarity with
USDA/FDA
regulations preferred.
What We Offer:
The base salary range for this position is $107,000 to $178,000 annually with eligibility for a 20% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
