Rich's®—Infinite Possibilities. One Family. Purpose Statement Seeking a motivated Refrigeration Technician to join our team. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining refrigeration systems, steam boilers, HVAC systems, and related equipment. Key Accountabilities and Outcomes Monitors and maintains refrigeration equipment including all components and associated glycol systems. Monitors, adjusts, and documents ammonia system pressures and temperatures. Monitors and maintains steam boilers, HVAC systems, and related equipment. Utilizes CMMS (SAP) to complete work orders and document information. Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted. Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's). Support Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM) at the facility. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Ability to work overtime, irregular hours or rotating shifts, required. High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent, required. 2-year degree in refrigeration or related field, required. 4-5 years of experience with Ammonia refrigeration, required. EPA Certification for handling refrigerants, preferred. PSM Trained, preferred Operator 1, 2 trained - Preferred Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and plumbing components. Ability to read and interpret pressure/temperatures charts. Experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferred. Ability to use a multimeter and refrigeration gauges. Familiarity with PSM programs, preferred. Experience using computer systems including CMMS and Microsoft applications. Ability to speak, write, and understand English; Bilingual (English/Spanish) is helpful. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, formulas, and policy and procedures manuals.
