Job Description
Home Services Technician Prefix Inc. is a growing Austin-based company that uses an innovative technology-enabled service platform to transform how home maintenance is performed. The company is actively recruiting managers to service and develop their own territories within the Greater Austin Area. Home Services Technician work directly with homeowners to resolve maintenance issues (including appliance, HVAC, and plumbing repairs), manage our contractors and grow their territories. As our service footprint grows, Managers will take on increasing leadership within the organization. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a high growth environment with a new and evolving product and be willing to take initiative in proactively identifying and resolving problems with minimal direction. While extensive experience with home maintenance is not required, the ideal candidate will have clearly demonstrated problem solving skills and an ability to quickly learn and teach others. PreFix will provide the candidate with all training and technical tools needed for the role. The ability to work effectively in teams and enhance the performance of other team members and colleagues is essential. The candidate can expect to receive similar support from a highly collaborative and supportive management team. Strong interpersonal and listening skills are highly important to quickly understand and respond to customer needs. The position offers a market competitive salary with considerable upside in incentive compensation as a key member of a growing, early stage company. Full health benefits are provided.
