In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical systems across various property types. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, plumbing, and related equipment, contributing to the seamless functioning of our facilities. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration and HVAC/R equipment. Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC units, boilers, plumbing fixtures, and other mechanical systems to ensure peak performance. Install, modify, and upgrade refrigeration and HVAC systems in accordance with safety standards and design specifications. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair or replace faulty components effectively. Provide field service support by responding promptly to service calls, ensuring minimal downtime for clients' critical systems. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately. Qualifications Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on HVAC, refrigeration, or property maintenance. Service technician experience with a strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration. Mechanical knowledge encompassing boiler operation, equipment repair, welding skills, and general mechanical troubleshooting. Familiarity with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units and appliance repair techniques. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics confidently; experience with ohmmeters for electrical testing is preferred. Field service experience demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills under pressure. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel as needed for service calls.
