Responsibilities Include:

Troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on refrigeration equipment such as reach-in and walk-in units, cooler display cases, ice machines, salad tables, frozen beverage, and beer systems, etc. Read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics. Handle R-290 and other refrigerants, brazing and soldering. Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, meters, torches and measuring equipment to perform service of the unit. Operate a commercial vehicle in a safe manner and adhere to all company safety requirements. Effectively communicate with the customer, and work independently under pressure, and without close supervision. Work on-call nights and weekends when assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Must be EPA certified. 2-3 years of experience with refrigeration Must be registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration (TDLR) Industry certifications such as CFESA, NATE, and FACTORY are preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age Successful completion of drug screen and criminal background screening Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements:

Exert up to 150 pounds of force (pulling, pushing, lifting, carrying, etc.) regularly and up to 50-75 pounds of force frequently without assistance. Climb and work from 8ft ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, twist, grasp to perform essential job functions. Tolerate environmental conditions consisting of extreme heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, dust, and poor ventilation. RSI is an equal opportunity employer.
