This role is ideal for a technician with strong diagnostic, service, repair, and installation experience on commercial refrigeration systems and select cooking equipment , specifically flat top grills and clamshell grills . Key Responsibilities Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment Install, commission, and service: Walk-in coolers Walk-in freezers Reach-in coolers and freezers Commercial ice machines Flat top grills Clamshell grills Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime Accurately document service calls, repairs, and recommendations Communicate professionally with customers on-site Follow all safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and EPA regulations Requirements Proven experience as a service technician specializing in commercial refrigeration, HVAC/R systems, and appliance repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair. EPA Certification (Universal preferred) Familiarity with construction processes related to installing or upgrading refrigeration and HVAC systems. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals confidently; experience with HVAC design is a plus. Knowledge of plumbing systems relevant to commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration units. Proficiency using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record . Excellent field service skills with the ability to work independently in diverse environments under tight deadlines. Professional appearance and customer-focused mindset.
