Job Description
Summary:
This position is responsible for planning and supervising the execution of cost-effective maintenance necessary for the operation of the Company's refrigeration equipment. This includes managing maintenance personnel, engineering in the modification, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems. Responsibilities- Responsible for the operation of two-stage ammonia refrigeration systems and all related equipment which included HVAC, system boilers, Vilter reciprocating compressors, chemical treatment, and air driers.
- Responsible for refrigeration personnel and assigning them daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance tasks on all related equipment throughout the facility.
- Maintain PSM program, troubleshooting, servicing or replacing all refrigeration equipment including ammonia, chiller towers, boilers, and other mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Must be familiar with PSM and RMP programs. Certifications RETA Certification, IIAR Certification, EPA Certification, Carrier Flotronic Chillers Certificate, Hazmat Certified, Certificate in Process Safety Management, YORK YT/YK Johnson Controls Metasys Energy Management certified. Abilities
- Required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, climb, reach overhead and bend to the floor.
- Exert 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or exert up to 70 pounds of force occasionally.
