Full-Time Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and certified Chiller Technician to join our growing team supporting commercial and industrial facilities throughout Northern Virginia. This role is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of water-cooled and air-cooled chiller systems. This is a long-term opportunity for a highly skilled technician with strong refrigeration and controls experience who can work independently, safely, and professionally in mission-critical environments including data centers and industrial facilities. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial chiller systems Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls issues Repair and replace defective chiller components Perform refrigerant recovery, recycling, and charging in compliance with EPA regulations Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals Inspect and maintain condenser and evaporator tubes Troubleshoot and work with VFDs, PLCs, and BAS (Building Automation Systems) Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records Respond to emergency service calls as needed Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies Required Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of hands-on commercial/industrial chiller experience EPA Section 608 Universal Certification (REQUIRED) Strong experience with: Centrifugal chillers Screw chillers Scroll chillers Experience troubleshooting: VFDs PLCs BAS systems Experience working with major brands such as: Trane Carrier York Daikin / McQuay Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work independently and professionally on customer sites Preferred Qualifications NATE Certification or equivalent HVAC/R certification OSHA 10 or

OSHA 30 NFPA 70E

Pay:

$28.61 - $34.46 per hour
