In this energetic role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and inspecting kitchen exhaust hoods, ducts, and filters to prevent fire hazards and ensure optimal ventilation performance. Your dedication will help keep our clients' facilities running smoothly while adhering to all safety standards and regulations. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work independently, develop specialized skills, and contribute to the safety of bustling commercial kitchens. Duties Perform detailed cleaning of kitchen exhaust hoods, ducts, filters, and related components using specialized tools and cleaning agents. Inspect ventilation systems for grease buildup, blockages, or damage, documenting findings accurately. Remove grease and debris safely from all components to meet industry standards and fire safety codes. Follow established safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) diligently during all tasks. Complete detailed service reports outlining work performed, conditions observed, and recommendations for repairs or maintenance. Coordinate with clients to schedule cleaning appointments and ensure minimal disruption to their operations. Maintain cleaning equipment in excellent condition and report any maintenance needs promptly. Qualifications Prior experience in commercial cleaning, HVAC maintenance, or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidates. Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving bending, lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members. Knowledge of safety protocols related to grease removal, fire prevention, and hazardous materials handling is a plus.
