Job Description

WHE Service Technician -
Entry Level Location:
Prudhoe Bay, Alaska Duration:
12 months (contract)
Pay Rate:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule:
2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, 12+ hours per day
Hours:
~40 hours per week (on rotational shift basis)

Mandatory NEST Training prior to deployment to the Slope Job Overview The WHE Service Technician is responsible for ensuring timely delivery, maintenance, and operational readiness of equipment in alignment with field and maintenance requirements. This role focuses on improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting maintenance efficiency through structured systems and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Maintain assigned equipment in accordance with established maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance strategies Follow Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) procedures to document materials, labor, equipment history, and maintenance activities Ensure compliance with Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business system standards Record and track work orders, parts usage, equipment movements, and maintenance timelines Support initiatives to reduce non-productive maintenance time and improve asset utilization Participate in continuous improvement programs to enhance maintenance efficiency and productivity Assist in reducing downtime related to repairs, parts availability, and work-in-process delays Contribute to cost of service delivery (CoSD) improvement projects, including repair, reuse, and optimization of parts Participate in failure investigations when required Support implementation of standardized maintenance and competency frameworks Collaborate with maintenance teams to improve turnaround time and operational performance Work Conditions Remote industrial field environment (Prudhoe Bay, Alaska) Rotational schedule (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off) Extended work shifts (12+ hours/day) Full support provided for meals and accommodations during assignment
