Job Description

Job Title:
WCE Service Technician Location:
Prudhoe Bay, AK 99734
Duration:
12 months (possible extension)
Schedule:
12.5hr days and 3weeks on x3 weeks off rotation Pay rate: $28-$32/hr on W2
Training Provided Position Summary:
Responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting centrifuges, pumps, grinding mills, filtration press systems, and related equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating and process equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues in the field. Conduct equipment inspections and adjust operating parameters. Support equipment installation, startup, and commissioning. Maintain service records and inventory documentation. Train and mentor operators and junior technicians. Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
Required Skills:
Experience with centrifuges, centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, grinding mills, and filtration systems. Knowledge of bearings, seals, VFDs, alignments, lubrication systems, and mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Experience in industrial, mining, manufacturing, or field service environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Equipment installation and commissioning experience. Inventory and spare parts management experience. Strong communication and customer service skills. Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Pay:
