Auxiliary Services Technician

Glenwood is seeking a dedicated and professional Auxiliary Services Technician to join our organization at our Avondale campus. The primary responsibility is to maintain a safe, clean, and friendly facility. The ideal candidate pays attention to detail, has a positive attitude, is punctual and thorough, and is eager to work in a team environment.

Primary Job Functions:

Perform general cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting Cleans and disinfects bathrooms and restocks supplies Wipes and dust surface in rooms and clean mirrors Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and other fixtures Cleans the refrigerator Empties trash, washes out trash receptacles as needed Washes windows and sills as needed Responsible for the maintenance of cleaning equipment Responsible for laundry, including washing, drying, and folding

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Detail-oriented and thorough Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously. Prior housekeeping experience preferred High school degree/GED equivalent required 21 years of age or older Valid Alabama driver's license and must be insurable through the agency's insurance carrier Must be cleared through the ABI/FBI and pass all required pre-employment and background screening.
