Job Description

Optical Technician / Optician Tallassee, Alabama Full-Time | Monday-Friday Join a Practice That Makes a Difference Magnolia Place Eyecare is a private, family-owned eye care practice that has proudly served our community for over 40 years. We are looking for a friendly, professional, and experienced Optical Technician / Optician to join our growing team. If you enjoy helping people, love eyewear, and want to work in a positive, patient-focused environment, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities Include:
✔ Assisting patients with frame selection and lens options ✔ Explaining insurance benefits and pricing ✔ Taking optical measurements and fitting eyewear ✔ Dispensing and adjusting glasses ✔ Processing eyewear and contact lens orders ✔ Maintaining an organized and welcoming optical area ✔ Providing exceptional customer service
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of optical or eye care experience required Strong communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented and organized Comfortable discussing eyewear products and insurance benefits ABO and/or NCLE certification preferred but not required
