Optical Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting with various optical procedures and tasks within our clinic. This position requires an understanding of optical principles, medical terminology, and patient interaction to ensure a seamless experience for our clients, which will all be trained in office. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and fitting contact lenses. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients. Communicate effectively with patients regarding medical terminology and procedures. Collaborate with medical office staff to ensure efficient patient flow and care. Provide excellent patient care by addressing questions, concerns, and follow-up needs. Qualifications Familiarity with medical records management and coding practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
