Responsibilities Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in commercial and residential settings using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Install, maintain, and remodel plumbing systems according to blueprints and schematics Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation and repairs Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks as required for various projects Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues Assist with remodeling projects involving plumbing components and related mechanical systems Operate construction site equipment safely while adhering to safety standards and protocols Heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for installation or repair tasks Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used on each project Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations Experience Proven experience in construction plumbing, including pipe threading, welding, and remodeling projects Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, HVAC systems, and schematics reading Background working on construction sites with knowledge of safety procedures Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems maintenance and repair Field service experience preferred for troubleshooting complex plumbing issues in various environments Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for demanding tasks Carpentry or maintenance person experience is a plus for versatile project support Knowledge of blueprint reading and basic math skills necessary for precise installations Commercial driving license or experience operating construction vehicles is advantageous This role requires a proactive individual committed to quality workmanship and safety standards.
