Marine Service Technician Pacific Outboards Huntington Beach, CA Job Details Full-time From $21 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Customer communication Teamwork Driver's License Attention to detail Automotive service Full Job Description Job Overview Marine Service Technician - Outboard Motors Position Summary Pacific Outboards is seeking a motivated and dependable Marine Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair outboard motors on fishing and recreational vessels. The ideal candidate has prior marine or mechanical experience, works well in a team environment, provides excellent customer service, and takes initiative to get the job done right. Responsibilities Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on outboard motors and related marine systems. Conduct routine services, including oil changes, water pump replacements, tune-ups, and inspections. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues. Accurately document work performed and parts used. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate professionally with customers regarding service recommendations and repairs. Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and manufacturer specifications. Assist with vessel inspections, sea trials, and additional service-related tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience working on outboard motors, marine equipment, or related mechanical systems preferred. Basic understanding of marine engines, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques. Strong work ethic with the ability to stay on task and work independently. Ability to follow directions and complete assignments efficiently. Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills. Excellent customer service and professionalism. Positive, self-motivated "go-getter" mentality. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions. What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual. Detail-oriented and organized.
