We are looking for a Bike Mechanic for our Los Angeles UpCenter. The mechanic team repairs a large number of different used e-bikes and refurbishes them to excellent condition, providing Upway's customers with a high-quality and vast e-bike selection As a mechanic, you will carry out the entire repair process of an e-bike and ensure that the bikes are delivered of excellent quality. You will work with your teammates in a well-equipped UpCenter in Los Angeles, dealing with e-bikes only. Due to the large selection of different e-bikes (mountain bikes, city bikes, cargo bikes; heavily used to almost new), the job remains varied and highly challenging. What you will do You repair e-bikes independently with everything that goes with it (reception, inspection, fault finding, spare parts selection, repair, quality control) Together with your team, you prepare e-bikes for delivery to our customers and keep the existing fleet in good shape You work on constantly improving our service and our e-bikes You become an essential part of our team and bring in your ideas for optimizing our repair process What you will need You have thorough expertise in electric bike mechanics.
