Full Job Description The Role:

This is a Service Technician position with a strong emphasis on diagnostics and system evaluation (often referred to internally as a turnover-focused role). You will not be sent out to simply quote repairs or push equipment.

Your responsibility is to:

Diagnose systems thoroughly Identify performance, safety, and longevity concerns Communicate findings in a way homeowners understand and trust Guide the homeowner to the right decision based on their needs How We Operate (Important): We are a question-based, consultative company. We do NOT walk in and tell homeowners what they need We ask questions, uncover pain points, and let the homeowner come to conclusions with our guidance We focus on education, not pressure Strong communication is just as important as technical ability If you are used to "pitching" or high-pressure sales tactics, this will not be the right fit.

What You'll Be Doing:

Full system diagnostics (electrical, airflow, performance) Documenting findings with photos and measurements Presenting repair and system improvement options Identifying aging systems and potential replacement opportunities Maintaining a clean, professional presence in the home

What We're Looking For:

Strong diagnostic ability (not just part replacement) Confident but non-pushy communication style Ability to build trust quickly with homeowners Coachable and open to a structured process Professional appearance and attitude 2+ years HVAC experience preferred

Compensation & Structure:

Hourly + Commission (whichever is greater) Performance-based earning potential Consistent opportunity for high-ticket calls
