Role Summary Responsible for the operation, installation, maintenance, and support of enterprise communications and network systems, including telecommunications. This role supports both wired and wireless infrastructure and ensures reliable network performance across multiple sites. Scope Experienced professional who independently manages end-to-end network field operations. Applies strong technical expertise to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and support infrastructure across diverse environments. This is a 4 months role with possibility of extension. What You'll Do Provide onsite support for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network equipment (Layer 1 & 2) Diagnose and resolve network issues across hardware, connectivity, and infrastructure Perform equipment installs, repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance Maintain accurate documentation, inventory, and service records Support IDF spaces, UPS systems, and network hardware lifecycle management Collaborate with internal teams on system improvements and infrastructure projects Analyze network issues and recommend solutions to improve performance and reliability Deliver clear communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Support incident response, including after-hours and on-call coverage Assist with user training and documentation as needed Basic Qualifications 3-4+ years of experience in network services, field services, or IT support Hands-on experience troubleshooting network hardware and connectivity issues Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (protocols, cabling, infrastructure) Ability to read technical diagrams and service documentation Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based environment Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Certifications such as Network+, CCNA/CCT, or ITIL Additional Requirements Ability to travel between sites and support field operations Participation in on-call rotation (24/7 support as needed)
Rate:
$40-45/hr
Pay:
