Powersports ATV & Motorcycle Service Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in motorcycle & ATV diagnostics and repair, with hands-on experience in a dealership or service environment. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform various maintenance tasks, ensuring vehicles are safe and functioning optimally. The Service Technician will also provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with services rendered. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, oil changes, carburetor cleaning, brake repair, electrical work, suspension work, and assembly tasks. Utilize motorcycle diagnostics tools to identify issues and troubleshoot problems effectively. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition and recommend necessary repairs. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during repair processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Assist customers with inquiries, providing clear explanations of services performed and recommendations for future maintenance. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and high-quality service delivery. Engage in ongoing training to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Requirements Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role within an automotive dealership or service center. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in motorcycle & ATV repair, including electrical diagnostic, and heavy lifting capabilities. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools for vehicle maintenance and repair tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Familiarity with various motorcycle/ATV systems, including electrical systems, engines, brakes, and suspensions. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive repair are a plus.
