Duties Conduct field service visits to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment on-site, ensuring minimal downtime. Utilize hand tools, schematics, and diagnostic devices such as ohmmeters to identify electrical and mechanical issues accurately. Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent future failures and extend the lifespan of equipment. Repair computer hardware components, including servers, workstations, and networking devices, following detailed technical procedures. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide complex repairs involving low voltage systems and intricate circuitry. Maintain detailed records of all service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each task. Collaborate with team members to resolve challenging technical issues related to computer networking and mechanical systems. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or repair technician with a strong background in field service operations. Proficiency with hand tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical testing. Solid knowledge of computer hardware repair, maintenance procedures, and basic computer networking concepts. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. Experience working with low voltage electrical systems and troubleshooting electrical components safely. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to explain technical issues clearly. Ability to work independently in diverse environments while adhering to safety protocols.
