Roof Service Technician

Johnson Construction Company LLC is seeking an experienced Roof Service Technician to perform roofing repairs, leak investigations, maintenance work, and small roofing projects on residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on position requiring strong troubleshooting skills and roofing repair experience. The ideal candidate can work independently, diagnose roofing issues, communicate clearly with the office and customers, and complete quality repairs safely and professionally. Responsibilities Investigate and repair roof leaks Perform repairs on shingles, tile, metal, and low-slope roofing systems Replace flashing, damaged roofing materials, and related components Complete general roof maintenance and service work Document work performed and communicate updates to the office Drive company vehicle to job sites throughout the day Work independently on service calls and occasionally alongside a crew Maintain professionalism with homeowners, property managers, and onsite contacts Qualifications Roofing repair and leak detection experience required Experience with one or more roofing systems including shingles, tile, Euroshield, EPDM, TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, metal roofing, flashing, BUR, and coatings Tile roofing experience required Euroshield experience preferred Siding and/or window experience is a major plus Ability to identify roofing materials and perform proper repair methods Comfortable using roofing hand tools and equipment safely and effectively Strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with OSHA safety practices and proper PPE Ability to safely work at heights for extended periods Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and routinely climb ladders No fear of heights What We Offer Company vehicle for work use Full-time steady work Competitive pay based on experience High school or equivalent (Required) Driver's License (Required)
