This position provides significant opportunities for professional advancement and mentorship, while also supplying a company vehicle, toolkit, mobile phone, and educational support. You will be joining one of the most seasoned and expansive field service groups in the sector. Core Duties Execute field maintenance and service tasks on electrical hardware across various project sites. Provide high-quality technical resolutions directly to clients at their locations to ensure operational success. Manage intricate engineering tasks, such as product design, testing protocols, process analysis, and research projects. Utilize your specialized knowledge in test equipment, troubleshooting, protective relays, power quality analysis, disaster recovery, rotating machinery, and protection/control design to help maintain system reliability. Produce precise and prompt service documentation detailing completed tasks, equipment functionality, and warranty status to keep stakeholders informed. Essential Qualifications Possess a High School Diploma or GED plus two years of relevant electrical or mechanical experience, or a trade school certification combined with five or more years of experience in electrical distribution or control systems. Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship. A current and valid driver's license is mandatory. Must be capable of securing and retaining a TWIC card and meeting DOT non-CDL requirements if the role demands it. Preferred Background An engineering degree from an accredited university. At least one year of hands-on field service work involving electrical distribution or control systems. Possession of an Electrical or General Contractor's license. Holding a Professional Engineering (PE) certification. Proven background in power quality analysis and protective relay testing or diagnostics. Current NICET or NETA certification. Professional Competencies Comprehensive knowledge of 3-phase power systems, including low, medium, and high voltage distribution. Strict adherence to electrical safety standards to ensure a secure environment for the entire team. Skilled in the operation of various hand and power tools. Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and computer proficiency. Clear communication abilities to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders. Capacity to maintain performance under tight deadlines and high-pressure field conditions. A cooperative mindset that helps the team consistently meet project milestones. Operational Requirements Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, with travel required throughout the region. Physical capability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs, with assistance for heavier items. Readiness to work in environments with potential exposure to dust, noise, extreme temperatures, or limited lighting. Commitment to following safety protocols and successfully completing required background and drug screenings. Compensation and Benefits This role includes a company vehicle, a guaranteed 40-hour work week, and eligibility for overtime and travel premiums.
