Job Description
Responsibilities Leadership & Customer Service Lead and mentor junior technicians and helpers in the field. Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards and customer expectations. Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding system issues, repair recommendations, and completed work. Provide estimates and recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and system improvements. Maintain positive customer relationships and represent the company professionally at all times. Operations & Documentation Accurately document work performed, materials used, and recommendations through ServiceTitan software. Maintain inventory of commonly used parts and materials on service vehicles. Ensure service vehicles, tools, and equipment are maintained in clean and safe working condition. Complete all required paperwork, photos, and job documentation before closing work orders. Safety & Compliance Follow all company safety procedures and local regulations. Safely operate trenching equipment, pipe pullers, wire locators, and other irrigation tools. Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Installation Projects Assist with irrigation system renovations, expansions, and new installations as needed. Verify proper system operation and conduct final walkthroughs with customers upon project completion. Perform seasonal sprinkler start-ups, winterizations, and system inspections. Locate and repair leaks in irrigation piping and valves. Adjust sprinkler heads and nozzles to ensure proper coverage and water efficiency. Program, troubleshoot, and install irrigation controllers, including smart Wi-Fi controllers. Conduct system audits to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Install and repair drip irrigation systems and related components. Perform wire tracing and valve locating using specialized diagnostic equipment. Requirements Valid drivers license Customer service experience Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds Basic technical and problem solving skills Preferred J1/J2/J3/J4 or plumbing license At least one year of irrigation experience Programming controllers Activation/winterization experience New irrigation installation experience Landscaping skills Service Titan experience Job Type (seasonal) $28 - $45 per hour depending on experience
