Job Title:
Aircraft Structures Technician If qualified and interested: Apply or text Duke at 631/513/1840 Job Description The role involves participating in calibration checks, fabricating complex assemblies from sheet metal, machined parts, and composite components, and conducting aircraft sheet metal repair and structural modifications. You will be responsible for disassembling, repairing, and fabricating complex structural items and mechanical assemblies, planning and installing structural mechanical modifications, and fabricating and maintaining pressurized and non-pressurized structures. Additionally, you will handle the installation of wire harnesses and electrical components and mentor team members in understanding engineering drawings and work instructions. Responsibilities Conduct calibration checks as needed. Train and lead teams of 10-15 people. Fabricate complex assemblies from sheet metal, machined parts, and composite components. Perform aircraft sheet metal repairs and structural modifications. Disassemble, repair, and fabricate complex structural items and mechanical assemblies. Plan, layout, fabricate, and install structural mechanical modifications and assemblies. Handle fabrication, maintenance, and repair of various structural components including pressurized and non-pressurized structures. Install wire harnesses and electrical components. Mentor team members in understanding engineering drawings and work instructions. Maintain personal tools required for job execution. Essential Skills 5+ years of sheet metal experience. 3+ years of leadership experience in workflow management. Proficiency in quality inspection and fabrication. Experience with C-130 or similar airframes. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have personal tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. FAA or A&P Certified Airframe License is a plus. Experience with FAR 25 and
MIL-STD-516
