Job Description

Job Summary Performs repair and overhaul duties in association with our 145-repair station. Must adhere to the Repair Station Quality Control Manual (RSQCM), Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), and all 14 CFR Aviation Regulations. Supervisory Responsibilities N/A Page Break Duties/Responsibilities Troubleshoot to the component level Ensure the quality of work of non-certified technicians Inspection of incoming parts and review the supporting documentation (FAA 8130-3 and C of C) Inspect, test, and troubleshoot to the board level Diagnose, test, repair, and prepare products for return to service to include certifying conformity of products Complete test results, teardown reports, traceability, and return to service documentation (8130-3 •if applicable• and C of C) Undergo recurrent training on an annual basis Other duties as assigned by management

Page Break Required skills/abilities Ability to read, write, and speak English a must Ability to read technical schematics, work instructions, use typical electronics bench test equipment, i.e. o-scope, multi-meter, soldering iron, power supplies, etc. Proficient with a PC and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Work, Outlook) Read and understand drawings, manuals (CMM s), work instructions, and schematics Computer and website navigation skills required Knowledge, Education, and Experience 5+ years of experience in electronics or avionics installation and repair required Commercial or military flight avionics experience preffered Experience with ELTs (emergency locator transmitters) is highly desired Experience reading CMMs, drawings, and schematics General knowledge of FAA requirements for a FAR 145 repair station Associate s degree in electronics or equivalent in military training Experience dealing with Aviation OEM s preferred, is a plus
