Part-Time Handyman Technician Assistant Position Summary Affix Handyman Solutions is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused Part-Time Handyman Technician Assistant to support our lead technician with residential maintenance, repair, and improvement projects. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to grow within the home services industry. The Technician Assistant will help complete a variety of projects in high-end residential properties while maintaining professionalism, cleanliness, and excellent customer service. Responsibilities Assist the lead technician with residential repair and maintenance projects. Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools and materials. Prepare and protect work areas before beginning projects. Perform basic handyman tasks under supervision, including: Drywall patching and repairs Painting and touch-ups Caulking and weatherproofing Fixture installation and replacement Minor carpentry work Basic plumbing fixture replacements Tile repairs and installation assistance Exterior maintenance and pressure washing Clean and maintain the job site throughout the workday. Drive to job sites as needed. Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members. QualificationsRequired Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation to and from the shop or job sites. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable using ladders and working outdoors in South Florida conditions. Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail. Ability to pass a background check. Preferred Previous , maintenance, remodeling, painting, carpentry, plumbing, or related trades. Experience working in occupied homes. Ability to perform tasks independently after training.
