About the
Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Endoscopy Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of flexible and rigid endoscopes, ensuring equipment is restored to manufacturer specifications and safe for medical use. This is a great opportunity for professionals with experience in medical equipment repair looking to grow in a specialized and fast-growing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of flexible and rigid endoscopes. Identify and replace faulty components using precision tools and techniques. Conduct quality control tests and document all repairs and maintenance work. Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards. Maintain organized records of work orders and repair reports. Collaborate with customer service and logistics teams to ensure timely turnaround.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (Technical training or associate degree preferred). Experience with medical device repair , especially endoscopes, is highly desirable. Familiarity with precision tools, soldering, and microscope work. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to follow technical manuals and work independently. Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Endoscope Technician , Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) , or Medical Equipment Repair Technician . Knowledge of Olympus, Pentax, Fujinon or Karl Storz endoscopes. Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Portuguese) is a plus.
