REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma, Trade School or Technical College. Helpful to have experience with dispensing eyeglasses. Optical license not required. Basic computer skills and math skills.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze and interpret prescriptions and lens design. Learn how to measure pupillary distances, bifocal, trifocal and progressive placement. Select and measure frame for facial contour, eye size, bridge size and temple length. Fit and adjust eyewear to the face and eyes. Learn how to file eyeglasses Insurance Claims and post payments. Other duties as assigned by the office manager. Maintain inventory of eyewear and contact lenses. Provide exceptional customer service.

Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. No evenings or weekends.
