Technician

Overview We are looking for a Marine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the marine industry marine engines, electrical systems, and other related components. The Marine Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on boats, as well as performing preventative maintenance and providing technical advice to customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to further their career in the marine industry. Duties Diagnose and repair marine engines and related systems. Perform routine maintenance on marine engines and related systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with marine engines and related systems. Maintain records of repairs and maintenance. Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction with service provided. Follow safety procedures when working on marine engines and related systems. Conduct safety checks and ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues on system operation and troubleshooting procedures Requirements 5 years of experience in technical maintenance or repair roles within industrial, manufacturing, or facilities environments Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to diagnosing issues Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings Good communication skills for documenting work activities clearly and collaborating effectively with colleagues Relevant certifications or training in electrical systems, mechanical maintenance, or related fields are preferred but not mandatory Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional overtime or on-call shifts as needed Compensation To be discussed during the interview process.
