Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am
  • 6:00pm with some variance depending on client assignment The Board Repair Technician works on all specified boards in their group or those that are assigned by the Board Repair Supervisor.
The Board Repair Technician must maintain a high level of production while also adhering to stringent Quality Guidelines. Responsibilities Works within an OEM group under the guidance of group supervisor and lead technician. Capable of all phases of circuit board repairs. Meets Hytec standards of quality. Maintain a standard level of productivity (Approx. 1 BPH or higher) without compromising quality standards. Regularly use in-house manuals and/or documentation during the repair process. Maintain test bed machines within their assigned level, repairing any observed deficiencies. Will be expected to learn and committed to following processes and procedures relevant for conforming and non-conforming product. Technicians are expected to maintain a neat and orderly work area. Board repair technicians must adhere to ESD awareness guidelines. Job Requirements Two year Technical degree in electronics technology or an equivalent vocational electronics program. (allowances may be made for previous work experience) 1+ years hands on component level troubleshooting, including component testing, diagnosis and replacement is preferable. Familiarity with digital electronic theory, and fundamentals of microprocessors, and their applications. Good mathematical skills Ability to work independently
